Refunds and Cancellation
How to cancel, and when we refund
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your profile, under Manage billing. It takes one click, we do not ask why, and there is nothing to phone.
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. You keep everything you paid for until the day it expires.
What happens to your account
Your account returns to the free plan. Your history stays, and the parts of it that the free plan covers keep working. Anything else stays in place until you ask us to delete it.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with the Dojo, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.
This applies to your first charge on a plan and to every renewal after it.
After 14 days, a period that has already started runs to its end, and you can cancel at any time so that you are not charged again.
Course seats
A seat in a course is paid once and starts on a date. Cancel by email any time before the course starts and you get a full refund. You do not have to give a reason.
Once the course has started, the seat is yours. If life intervenes, write to us and we will move you to a later run of the same course rather than let the money go to waste; a module already taught is not refunded.
Private lessons are a plan, and the plan rules above apply to them: cancel any time, and the 14 day refund covers every charge.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel a purchase of digital services within 14 days.
Because the Dojo is available to you immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that the service begins straight away, which ordinarily ends that right once the service has been fully performed. Our own 14 day refund above is offered regardless, so you keep the same outcome either way. For a course seat, the fuller of the statutory right and the terms above is what you get.
Nothing here affects your right to a remedy if the service is faulty or not as described.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Paddle retries it over several days and emails you. Your access continues while that happens. If it ultimately fails, your account returns to the free plan, your data stays, and you can resubscribe at any time.
How to ask
Email connect@ekohacks.com from the address you paid with, and say which charge.
Refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record and return to the card you paid with, normally within five to ten working days.
If you paid through an app store or a reseller, their refund process applies instead.
